Not really in the blogging mood
I'm not really in the blogging mood. Actually I have been dreading March. I hate St. Patricks Day, I hate March 18th and I love/hate March 19th, and the days following. It has been a long hard year, and one that I am very anxious to end. If any of you want details I will share them as to why I hate March so bad.

Florida trip 2008
March 1st marks a year ago since Shane and I, along with my parents made our way to Florida to visit with my brother and his family. I really can't believe that it has been a year. So here are a few of the pictures we took from Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center.

The Orlando Temple

Emma in Minnie Mouse' house

My Brother Nathan

A Tree Frog that was in our condo when we got home one night.
Shane and I in front of Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom
A Space Shuttle replica- Kennedy Space Center
Launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center- the orange top is part of the actual shuttle that took off two days after we returned home from Florida.
Emma, Benjamin, and Jacob posing as astronauts.
Nan, Shane and Jacob posing as astronauts
Shane and his sunglasses inside a part of the shuttle. By the end of the trip Shane was on pair 3 of the Sunglasses. He lost I think 4 pair in 2008 alone.
Cute little Benjamin

Croc that Shane hit with a quarter to see if was alive. Made my mom and I jump back even from ten feet about the ugly thing.

African Safari at the Animal Kingdom

Rhino in Animal Kingdom

A cool upside down tree in Animal Kingdom. These trees are native to Africa.

Fishing, Friends and Fun!!!!!
This past weekend Shane and I made a trip to see my friend Debbie and her family in Richfield, Utah. The girls spent Saturday relaxing, catching up, and pampering ourselves (we painted our toenails, and I think that counts as pampering). The boys spent the day at Fish lake doing some Ice fishing. Shane got a new power auger and really wanted to try it out.
Shane said the fishing wasn't that great, but the boys all had a great time catching perch. The boys even came home all wet. Apparently they had to see how the fish reacted to the jigs and such.
I LOVE spending time with Deb, and we can seriously sit and talk for hours just about anything. I have to truly say that she has got to be my very best friend. We hadn't seen each other since Shane and I got married nearly 4 years ago. Debbie is one that you can sit down with and talk to like it hadn't been years since you last talked, we really can just pick up right where we left off. I love those kind of friendships, and I will cherish our relationship forever. I am so grateful for Debbie for the example she has been to me since we were kids. She is a great mother and leader, and takes both home and church jobs seriously.
Thanks you guys we had a blast!!!!! We are looking forward to many more hunting and fishing trips down south with you guys.
Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Me and Deb before we headed home on Sunday morning.

Shane with his big catch!!!!

Bob and Ian checking out the fishing.

Me and Sarah!!! Not the best picture. Abbie is in the background.

A pocket full of change
Shane always comes home from work or play with a pocket full of change. By the end of the week, he can have a good couple of bucks in change. He has been saving for quite sometime (I think its been almost a year), and this morning we decided to count it all. So needless to say we started counting and counting and counting and counting. Here is a picture of the finished product.

The total came out to be a whopping $93.44. I can't believe Shane had so much change in his popcorn tin/piggy bank holder. I had to laugh at him after we were done, because he ran into the bedroom to find more change in a drawer or two. It was really addicting, and we both were surprised to see what he actually had.
Shane and I both had such DIRTY hands from all the counting on the digital bank. It was such hard work.

Shane's dirty hands. YUCK!!!!!

My dirty hands. YUCK!!!!

Does this look like $93.44? It doesn't to me, but the jar tells me differently. It sure is heavy. Keep saving Honey!!!! Let see how much we can get next year. Now he wants to go get some games for the Wii. Anybody have any other great ideas how to spend it? Maybe we should put it away for a rainy day.

I'm ready for warmer weather!!!!
I am soooooooooo ready for warmer weather. This week has been yucky with all the inversion and fog, and to top it all off it is just so dang cold. I am ready to plan for a trip to a tropical climate, where I can actually wear shorts and flip flops, and lounge out by the pool all day long, and just take all the sun in that I can. Hawaii here I come. I think the next trip that we have planned is to go Ice Fishing.
