Blessings

I love this time of year, not only for the time that we spend with family during the holidays, but for the fact that as we get closer to Christmas we become a little more thankful for the things that we have been given.
I have much to be thankful for this year, I am so indeed grateful for the many trials that Shane and I faced this year. I truly have to say that it has been the hardest year of my life, but I am thankful for the love that my Savior gives me, so that I can make it through life's trials. I am so thankful for my wonderful family, you have always been so supportive with everything and anything that comes our way. I am grateful for Shane, for his patience, his devotion and his love. He will never truly understand how much I love him for who he is and the man that he is. I am grateful for my calling and for what the youth have taught me. I have a stronger testimony of the gospel because of these strong, valiant individuals, who are truly Christ like in all they do. I am grateful for my many friends and neighbors, you all are such a wonderful blessing in our lives, and I am so glad to call home "HOME". Shane and I could not have asked for anything better than you. I am grateful for eternal families, for the peace and comfort that knowing our family is together forever. I am grateful for our son, Markham, though our time with you was short lived, you blessed our lives in so many ways.
Thank you all for all that you have done for our family this year. We truly have been blessed!!!!
May the Lord bless all of you with bounteous blessings this Christmas season, and coming year.
Thanks again for everything. We love you all!!!! Natalie and Shane

Tag your it!!!

Sorry I forgot to mention who I wanted to Tag. Since most of my friends have been or recently been tagged. I am leaving you off my list. So I am tagging mainly family. Mom, Egans, Nato and Robin oh and let me not forget about the Forsgrens. Have fun.

Tag your it!!!! WHAT???

Well I was tagged by a friend of mine, and she wanted me to list all the weird things that I do. Trust me there are way to many. So here goes, I will give it my best shot.

1. When I fill up my car with gas, IT HAS to be to an exact dollar amount and if that won't do 50 cents will work. So it can be $24.00 or 24.50 not 32.62. It drives me crazy.

2. I guess I have a difficult time making food. My family used to joke that I couldn't make Jell-O, Shane says I can't make anything fried. I just ruin it. I can't make pancakes, I get the dough to thick on the griddle and they look great, but are a soggy, gooey mess in the middle.

3. My pillows on my bed have to be in the exact order form Big to small. I laugh every time Shane trys to trip me up. I laugh and then fix it. I guess I'm a little OCD about my pillows.

4. I don't know how to use bleach when washing towels. I have ruined soooooooooo many towels just by trying to get them bleach clean. We had to invest in some color safe bleach for me.

5. I have a hard time deciding what to wear, I change multiple times everyday before I leave the house. Even to church activities.

6. I can't go anywhere without my hair or makeup done. Thanks mom!!!!

7. I have to check caller ID and the messages every time we get home from anywhere. I may miss a call from somebody. This drives Shane nuts.

8. I take a security blanket with me to work everyday. It's my green bag. It has a bunch of stuff in there that I just might need one day.

9. I have to take a mug of water with me everywhere I go. If I don't have it I feel lost.

Salt Lake Temple Pictures

I wanted to share these pictures with all of you. I took these pictures the last time the youth from our ward went to do Baptisms. I think that the pictures turned out GREAT!!!! I love my new camera, and I am still learning how to use the thing. Thanks again Shane for a wonderful birthday and Christmas present.

Brand New Year Recording

On November 5th, the youth from our ward/stake had the wonderful opportunity to attend a video recording for an upcoming video broadcast that will be shown to the youth and their leaders throughout the world this upcoming January. It was really fun to be apart of this event. I just hope that the youth walked away from the Conference Center feeling the spirit and remembering what they had heard from Elder Jeffery R. Holland. The message Elder Holland gave was excellent and really gave all of us a different view of living up to the standards of the gospel and to NEVER DENY WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND KNOW IS TRUE!!!!!

Here are a few picture that I took of all of us waiting for the program to start.
Me and Brooke

Sandy, Mandy and Chelsea

Rebecca, Shelby and Hillary

Brittany, Breanna, Rees and Natasha

Nicole, Britt and Breanna

Rees our little Hannah Montana

It really was just of sea of youth everywhere with a handful of leaders. I felt bad for the couples leaving the Temple that night, being bombarded with youth from every direction, and I even joked about it. The funny thing was that, that Thursday (Nov. 6th) was our stake temple day, and when we left to go home Shane and I along with Jeff and Rebecca Forsgren were with the sea of youth who were attending the Thursday night recording of the same program. It was an adventure, but was worth it.

So I think I have to be the worlds worst blogger. My last post was almost a month ago. I had been on here to post other items but couldn't figure out what to post. My brother and his family seem to update their blog weekly, and even my mom has updated her's a couple of times during the October. So I guess that classifies me as the world's worst blogger.

October has been quite busy for us Kempton's going here and there, to work, fishing, hunting, class reunions, the temple, dinners with family, youth activities, and the list goes on and on and on. Work has been challenging for me, things have been slow for a few months now as a result of the current economy, and a few other things that would take to much time to type out.
I have REALLY needed to find a new job for quite sometime, but never really lit the fire under my feet, until we found out that they were doing away with one of the shifts at work, and not getting rid of any employees 23 of us to be exact (to me it just doesn't make sense that would be 12/11 per shift and no work to supply that many of us), and were changing our hours to 8:30 to 5:00 M-F. YUCK!!!!! Sorry for all of you who work those hours. I have worked early hours for many years and usually find myself getting up around 4:30 am to be to work by 6:30 am. I am currently pursuing other options and if you have any ideas for me I would love them. Please pray that I will find something and SOON. I will keep everyone posted.
